Exporting to Gabon - PROGEC Gabon's Conformity Assessment Programme enforced from 1st August 2015

Intertek is provider of Certificate Services for Gabon’s new Conformity Assessment Programme The Agence Gabonnaise de Normalisation (AGANOR) in Gabon , Central Africa, is to implement its new Conformity Assessment Programme "PROGEC" (Programme Gabonais d Evaluation de la Conformité) from 1st August 2015. Intertek GTS is approved to provide the certification service to exporters to Gabon. The PROGEC programme will verify the conformity of all regulated products in the respective exporting countries, ensuring they comply with applicable national, regional or international standards and technical regulations, to protect the health, safety and environment of Gabon's citizens from sub-standard imported goods. From 1st August 2015 it will be compulsory for exporters to Gabon to provide a Certificate of Conformity for Customs clearance. This certificate can only be obtained from Intertek. Intertek's global services network, located in over 100 nations, will help the AGANOR to ensure products imported from around the world are delivered in good order to the people of Gabon.
